At first the Lutz are completely in love with their new home, and the children appear to be settling in well - particularly young Chelsea, who has a new invisible friend called Jody. But before long George begins to act strangely, and at 3:15am every morning (the same time that DeFeo reportedly murdered his family) strange things occur in the house.
Although this film is supposedly a remake of the 1979 ‘Classic’ starring James Brolin, it’s actually more of a retelling, and is ten times more scary than the original. The acting is superb, especially Reynolds and George in the lead roles, and the children too make the story particularly believable. |
