Heron (Lohan), having been brought up in the African bush, knows something
about the law of the jungle, but when the home-educated 15-year-old moves
to North Shore High School in a small town outside Chicago, she has no idea
how ruthless man can be. Immediately a hit with the most popular clique
in the school, The Plastics, she is not prepared for the warfare she must
endure after she falls for Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett), the ex-boyfriend
of the alpha-Plastic Regina George (McAdams). With Cady having broken an
unwritten social rule, the “Queen Bee” sets about feigning interest
in Aaron so that he won’t go out with Cady, while still pretending
to be her friend. Cady has no choice but to carry out her own devious campaign,
and the psychological conflict escalates until eventually the entire school
